Kingston Bay Senior Living Nominated for NAHB’s Best of 50+ Housing Award

Fresno, CA – January 21, 2012 - Kingston Bay Senior Living and Jeffrey DeMure + Associates Architects Planners are honored to announce the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 50+ Council’s nomination of the Kingston Bay Assisted Living Community in Fresno, California. Kingston Bay Assisted Living Fresno was nominated for “Best 50+ Housing Award” for Assisted Living for Special Needs Community on the Boards.

Best of 50+ Housing Award recipients were selected by a jury panel comprised of 16 industry experts who specialize in the area of active adult, service-enriched, marketing and lifestyle for the 50+ housing industry.  The jury spent one full week evaluating all the entries before deciding which projects should receive recognition.

Kingston Bay Assisted Living in Fresno features innovative, hospitality-based environment for older adults that emphasizes health and wellness as key components of the holistic design concept. Its residents enjoy connection-enhancing elements throughout the campus, such as a wellness center (fitness, spa, salon, medical spaces). These elements are organized into a “Main Street” destination, functional and beautiful gathering spaces for each neighborhood. Meaningful open spaces to promote walkability and outdoor experiences are also found throughout.

The National Association of Home Builders holds an annual competition featuring the best of the best 50+ senior housing across America. This year’s awards ceremony will take place January 23, 2013 at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas. We hope to see you there.
