2012 Kingston Bay Senior Living Year in Review

Year one for Kingston Bay Senior Living LLC ended well with the acquisition of two new properties. One in a growing urban neighborhood of Northwest Fresno, another in the quaint California coastal community of Cambria. Both properties will serve an unmet community need while providing “next generation” assisted living for seniors.

The Fresno facility is in final design phase with Jeffrey DeMure + Associates from Sacramento, a leader in quality senior housing projects. Construction of the 84-unit, 83,000-square foot community is slated to begin in the spring of 2013 with an occupancy target of 2014.

Cambria approvals are advancing towards a fall 2013 ground breaking. Hochhauser-Blatter Architects of Santa Barbara are leading the design of a facility that fits uniquely into the coastal environment. Though much smaller in scope, the first facility will be the first of its kind in Cambria.

Another major alliance in 2012 was the joint venture partnership with Frontier Management of Portland, Oregon. This strategic alliance with an operator known in the industry for excellence, and a real heart for seniors, insures our common goal of providing quality care that honors our parents.

Ahead in 2013, another Central Valley project and a coastal venture are on track for acquisition and development. Watch our site for upcoming investment opportunities or contact Rusty Karraker, Investor Relations.
